In a match of chillie boys FC and Pretoria North FC played out a thrilling 4-2 through penalties at Shaka Stadium, Soshanguve Block VV, on Saturday 27th of July 2024, 11h30.

The Mukalanga foundation winter games that was at Shaka Stadium in Soshanguve, Block VV accommodated 4 teams and one of the teams was chillie boys FC  and Pretoria North FC which ended with penalties leaving chillie boys with 4 and Pretoria North with 2 (4-2).

The action started early, with chillie Boys FC pressing hard from the kickoff. Their efforts paid off in the 15 minutes (11h45) when Mogorosi struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box, beating the Pretoria North’s goalkeeper, Frank Moselane.

The chillie Boys FC continued to dominate with Kenneth 4” and Mapo 8” posing constant threats down the flanks.



Pretoria North FC, however found their rhythm. In the second half game at 12h23, Brandon 4” showcased his brilliance. The first half ended with Chillie boys FC 1-0 Pretoria North FC, setting the stage for an exciting second half.

Penalties took place at 13h05. The drama continued into the penalty shootout. Pretoria North FC went first, with Brandon 4” confidently scoring. Kenneth 4” from the Chillie boys FC followed. The shootout saw good penalties from both sides until the fifth round.

The standout players were Kenneth from Chillie boys FC with his creativity and leadership in hand with their goalkeeper, jersey number 16 and the captain of the team Kayiso Setsiba, jersey number 10”.

The Chillie boys FC supporter, MaFroza commented about the wonderful game that took place, “On today’s game, I am proud of my boys. We are very happy; they played very well and won an honest game. It was not like the last game, but today I am very happy for them, and I am very proud. I just pray the lord gives them power to carry on until the finals”, she said.

Kayiso Setsiba, Captain of Chillie boys FC also throwed in a comment, “Today’s game I thought we were going to lose it, but we managed to fight till the end. Today was a bit difficult because we do not usually go to the gym as always, but we did well as the team”, he said.

The clash between chillie boys FC and Pretoria North FC was a showcase of a good football game, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and determination. The 1-1 draw, followed by the penalty score of chillie boys 3-1 Pretoria North FC, conducting to 4-2 final score.
